Commission for
 Who wanted like an 'opposite' to the Shiranui wolf. So instead of being the god of the sun, this wolf is the god of the moon. She wanted the swirly stuff on its back to be closer to smoke as opposed to the flames on Shiranui. She also wanted the disc to look a little menacing so I made a crack in the middle.  Aaaand she wanted the patterns on this wolf to represent stars like the night sky. School tomorrow. T_T Please be paitent to all who have commissioned/traded, I will get them done eventually! Its funny because when i first saw the thumbnail for this picture, i was like "hey, isnt there supposed to be fire on the back, not smokey lightning looking stuff?"
So you definately gave that impression!!
Oh and the crack in the disc is pretty impressive, i dont know why, but its pretty awesome, in addition to all the shading and highlights ^_^
That pose is also very awesome - its not dominating but still the moon god holds his ground
I love the swirls, again this reminded me of the night sky far before i took the time to read the artists comments. Its a nice feeling ^_^ The fur is well drawn, once more, and i love how the swirls look like they are actually glowing! Your techniques are very very professional, i'm sure the person you commissioned for is pretty damn pleased
