I wanted to wait and due proper credit to this before I commented. :meow:

Got it in the mail and got it properly framed up.

I still miss him; I think I always will, with as much as I adore my baby. But this helps the ache a little bit. It's like I have a small piece of him here with me now.

It really ain't possible to thank you enough for this. You seriously got him perfectly. The little pointy face, and the way he likes to perk his ears, even the tiny white points on the paws and nose and belly, and you got the stripes on his forehead spot on exact and the way you did up his brindling is marvelous.

He even holds his tail exactly like that, more or less out flat. :excited: You've given me a little piece of joy.

It's brave of you to try a brindle coat. Not many artists are keen on doing that.
(I also admire your proper use of "whom.") :)

Haha thanks!

I couldn't remember if I used the word 'whom' so I thought you were being sarcastic. :P

I doubt you intended it, but this kind of looks like an aquatic wonder-world. xD The deep, cobalt blue (mixed with a bit of purple) sky which is flowing and multidimensional makes me think of the surface of an ocean, the flowing grass kind of like aquatic plant life (perhaps like seaweed?)... and then you have what is apparently a water breathing dog. xD Also, watercolors have a tendency to leave a somewhat watery/aquatic feel, even if only subtly. I like them in all instances, regardless, though.
